| Beneath the Ko’olau Mountains on O’ahu’s eastern shore, the beach community of Kailua is just a 30-minute drive from the bustle of Waikiki. Kailua Beach, often voted the best beach in the US, is one of the most popular water sports destinations in the world. With palm-lined white sand beaches and three offshore islets, Kailua Bay’s aqua marinewaters are surrounded by coral reefs that are home to colorful tropical fish and native "honu" turtles. With Kailua Ocean Adventures, guests enjoy an amazing 4-hour Hawaiian outrigger canoe adventure within the waters of Kailua Bay. Our canoes can accommodate 4-6 people, which allow families and friends to enjoy an awesome ocean experience together. Tours include paddling to a remote beach on an offshore island, snorkeling, relaxing in tide pools, and hiking to a secluded cove. Safety is our number one priority, and our experienced guides are both skilled paddlers as well as certified lifeguards. Our tours are very relaxed and our guides do most of the paddling, but don’t expect to stay dry! Hawai’i’s outdoors have not been fully experienced until you’ve paddled in a Hawaiian outrigger canoe (wa’a in Hawaiian).
